I love the matcha here! My favourite things to order is the matcha float with oat milk matcha lava cake! Tempted to gatekeep but i won’t. you must try!!! Some other of my fav drinks : White peach jasmine float with matcha ice cream Kinako latte (hot or cold) with oat milk.
Hands down one of the best spots in GTA to get matcha beverages and ice cream. They use ceremonial grade matcha as a base and have premium ceremonial grade matcha drinks as well as the tea itself for sale. We tried their premium matcha latte and matcha / houjicha blend soft serve ice cream. Both were excellent. Would definitely recommend.
A wonderful place to get some authentic macha latte, also they have a wonderful menu with with a mix of various flavors. The staff was very kind and helpful, A must if you are in the look out for some Macha
Amazing matcha desserts and milkshakes! Daigyo matcha desserts are rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. The matcha milkshake is a must-try: creamy, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Highly recommend for any matcha lover!
Aside from this new matcha trend that’s recently taken over, if you’re looking for true authentic high quality matcha, you can get it on the go right here in Scarborough! The staff here are so warm and friendly, drinks are made with so much care and quick to deliver, and they taste SO GOOD. I’ve been to Japan so my tastebuds felt alive again when I had their Genmaicha and Hojicha lattes. I’d love to gatekeep this spot, but it’s so good that I have to share this great find.
I was heartbroken when the first location that I’ve had my first Daigyo matcha permanently closed but guess what, nothing can stop me to have my matcha. I have influenced my man, friends and family to this place because they have the best matcha in town. Funny thing is I have dragged my manager to get his first matcha drink here too. That’s how I love and highly recommend this matcha place. Also, I always buy matcha powder here — it’s the closest way to feel like you’re sipping matcha in Japan. The space is smaller than the first location but that wont stop me either. I don’t know how many times I came to buy my matcha here because when I need to reward myself, matcha is the best way to have. Night out or dinner dates with my friends, we have to drop by here after. If I could upload all my Daigyo day here, it would be an album.
The service was very pleasant. The person working was so knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions we had regarding the matcha they have. He was very patient and friendly. The place had a nice calming ambiance. We ordered the roasted matcha, black sesame matcha and the osmanthus coffee latte. All three were really good. The matcha was silky and the coffee latte was smooth and strong. We enjoyed the delicate hint of the osmanthus with every sip of the latte. They also have option for lactose free milk and soy milk. Overall, we’d come back again to try their other drinks in the future.
I got the iced matcha latte, if you like matcha, you will like this one! It tastes similar to the matcha at Icha Tea, which uses the Marukyu-Koyamean matcha, with slightly grassy notes. I’m not sure which one they use here, but it tastes very close. This one is a bit lighter, but still delicious. They also sell their own brand of matcha powder in tins. The winter of Mt. Fuji is what they recommend for lattes, which was 25 for a 30g tin. The cashier was nice and worked quickly. Only downside is that it’s a small place, so not much seating.
